In this video a ZigBee network is shown through a stack monitor. At the same time 100 nodes are switched on in a small room. Each device can listen to all sent telegrams from the other nodes - really a worst case for wireless data transmission. Nevertheless sensible and reliable routes between the nodes are established - without any interaction or configuration through the user. ZigBee works completely self-organizing. In case of a router (each device with a permanent power supply) defect, the network stack behaves self-healing and new routes are established - fully automatically.
